NUCCA is a nationally registered Australian body, formed in 1995.  It is the only Australian, unaligned, trade association representing the interests of all professionals involved in the carpet and upholstery cleaning, and restoration industries.  NUCCA has aligned itself with the longest serving international training body in the world, the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning & Restoration Certification).  NUCCA actively works with Standards Australia to develop and review industry standards, was involved in the development of AS/NZS:3733 (Carpet Cleaning), AS/ANZ:4849 (Upholstery Cleaning)

The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) has served as the Industry Guardian for the cleaning, inspection and restoration service industries for more than 30 years.
The IICRC helps ensure that you have access to trusted and trained cleaning professionals by establishing and monitoring certification programs and standards for these industries.
IICRC Certified Firms are also required to abide by the IICRC Code of Ethics.
